HTTPS checks and SSL monitoring

Separate a successful HTTPS response from a complete certificate audit.

What works now

The checker reports whether it received an HTTPS response and exposes HTTP status and response timing. Reported TLS connection failures are visible. The hosting runtime performs its own TLS validation; CheckRover does not expose an independent certificate-chain or hostname-validation report.

What is not checked yet

Certificate issuer, expiry dates, remaining validity and a full trust-chain inspection are not available in the current environment. An HTTPS response is not a guarantee about the connection from a proxy to its origin server.

Planned improvements

Certificate-expiry monitoring, detailed hostname and chain diagnostics, and upcoming-expiration alerts are planned. No expiration date or successful audit is fabricated.
